Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, will shortly hold a press conference at the government headquarters in the new capital, to review the most prominent topics discussed during today’s government meeting, respond to the concerns of public opinion, and explain the decisions issued by the weekly meeting.
Madbouly had chaired the cabinet meeting in the new capital, where he began his speech by reviewing the most prominent activities witnessed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the past days, which carried important messages that reflect the vision of The state addresses a number of vital issues.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the president honored the authority’s screening tests for students applying to the military academy and military colleges, and conducted an extensive dialogue with them on a number of files, including the economic situation, the cash reserve, mechanisms for dealing with internal and external debt, and providing job opportunities, in addition to the state’s plans to apply artificial intelligence, mechanization and digitization in government institutions.
Madbouly stressed that the president stressed the continuation of the state’s steps towards digital transformation and modernization of education in line with With the needs of the labor market, in addition to his continuous directives to improve public health and raise the physical fitness of citizens.
The Prime Minister explained that these messages reflect the state’s thinking and its true desire to achieve the aspirations of citizens, adding that the government is working to advance the implementation of national projects in various sectors, most notably education and health, which is directly reflected in the quality of services provided to citizens.
Madbouly addressed an aspect of the President’s activity during the week, noting his reception of the Prime Minister of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, stressing the strategic nature. For relations between the two countries, and the keenness of the two governments to build on what was agreed upon during the mutual visits, especially the meetings of the joint Egyptian-Algerian Higher Committee. The Prime Minister directed the necessity of accelerating the implementation of the protocols and agreements that were recently signed with the Algerian side.
He also discussed the President’s meeting with the CEO of the Italian company Eni, pointing to the company’s announcement of its intention to pump new investments worth $8 billion into Egypt during the next five years, stressing that this development is one of the positive signals that reflects the confidence of international companies in Egypt’s economy.

With regard to the activities witnessed by the Prime Minister, he noted his attendance at the launch of the National Conference on Reforming and Empowering Local Administration, which reviewed the success of the local development program in Upper Egypt, stressing the state’s intention to complete this type of project in the various governorates.
He also reviewed his participation in the sixth annual forum of the General Authority for Health Care, stressing the state’s continued implementation of the comprehensive health insurance system to include all governorates of the Republic.
He concluded Madbouly referred to his participation on behalf of the President in the G20 summit in South Africa, and the seventh summit of the African Union and the European Union in Angola, stressing that Egypt’s active participation in the African space has become a strategic approach to consolidating cooperation with the countries of the continent in various fields.
