The member states of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization have agreed UNIDO During the twenty-first session of the organization’s General Conference, which was hosted by the Kingdom during the period from 23 to 27 November this year, "Riyadh Declaration" Which calls for strengthening multilateral cooperation, advancing the path of industrial development, and accelerating the achievement of sustainable development goals.
Representatives of more than (173) countries participated in agreeing on the declaration, which outlines a unified global vision for comprehensive and sustainable industrial development, with a special focus on fairness. Supply chains, innovation, and strengthening international partnerships, this declaration emphasizes the role of the organization "UNIDO" As a pivotal platform to support industrial transformation, provide job opportunities, enhance global value chains, and support sustainable economic growth.
Sustainable global development
It renews "Riyadh Declaration" The international community’s commitment to sustainable development and the elimination of Povertyin all its forms, through which member states recognize that comprehensive and sustainable industrial development represents a foundation for raising productivity, expanding the base of job opportunities, empowering women and youth, and promoting sustainable economic development.
The declaration paints a vision of a world in which food security is achieved for all societies and regions, led by strong agricultural systems and food industries. Member states agreed to expand industrialization and value added locally, support global private investments in the areas of agricultural manufacturing, and enhance innovation and technology transfer through… Food systems around the world.

The member states concluded their work by reaffirming their firm commitment to supporting "UNIDO"And calling for strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors, developing voluntary financing mechanisms, and building long-term partnerships that enable countries to move on the path of sustainable industrialization on a large scale.
And by hosting the twenty-first session of the General Conference of UNIDO, and adopting "Riyadh Declaration" From its lands, the Kingdom is establishing its position as a global platform for formulating a comprehensive and sustainable industrial development agenda, and through this announcement it is inaugurating a new phase of its role as a global industrial power linking national initiatives and international partnerships.
