المملكة: Launching December 2… Specific challenges and competitions in Black Hat Middle East and Africa

hosted by Riyadh Early next December, the global cybersecurity community will participate in the Black Hat Middle East and Africa 2025, which is organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and Tahaluf Company, the joint venture between the Federation, the Investment Events Fund and Informa International, during the period from December 2 to 4 at the Riyadh Convention and Exhibition Center in Mulham.
The event returns this year under the slogan (A Global Platform for Cybersecurity), as it presents the largest area for cyber events in the world, which includes advanced simulation of threat patterns and experiments. Interactive, based on realistic scenarios in the field of cybersecurity, enabling participants to test their practical readiness within a controlled environment.
The three-day event provides a basic platform to empower the technical business sector, through meetings aimed at building partnerships and investments, linking innovators with international and local institutions, and transforming cooperation opportunities into practical projects that contribute to strengthening the cybersecurity economy in the Kingdom and the region.
Reviewing the latest security research
This year’s edition witnesses the return of a number of specialized events, including Briefings Black Hat, which showcases the latest security research, and Arsenal laboratories to display open source tools, in addition to the Capture the Flag competition, the largest security challenge in the region with the participation of international teams, with prizes exceeding one million riyals.
In addition to the CyberSeed competition dedicated to emerging companies, which represents a platform for introducing investors to the most promising projects in the sector.
The event offers more than 200 hours of specialized content through 18 main sessions and 7 interactive sessions, with the participation of an elite group of speakers. International experts, experts and specialists in security and digital technologies, including Dr. Rumman Choudhury, CEO and co-founder of Human Intelligence, Devon Bryan, Global Head of Information Security at Booking Holdings, Wood Hemmin from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and a number of specialists in risk management, artificial intelligence, and development of protection systems.
The event also attracts participants and visitors from 140 countries, and more than 450 global and local exhibitors are participating in the exhibition, showcasing the latest solutions for detecting threats using intelligence.
