The Governor of Giza stresses increasing cleaning efficiency and intensifying occupancy campaigns

Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, stressed the necessity of improving the system of daily services provided to citizens, most notably cleaning work and raising occupancy, during his chairing the meeting of the Governorate’s Executive Council.
The Governor stressed that the coming period will witness intensive field action to ensure improvement in the level of performance within neighborhoods, centers and cities; Which is reflected in the quality of life for citizens and the ease of movement in the streets and squares.
During the meeting, the governor directed the heads of neighborhoods and centers to continue to intensify cleaning work throughout the day by sending field teams, workers and equipment, to immediately deal with the accumulations and remove the waste immediately, with an emphasis on following up on automatic and manual sweeping on a regular basis, and ensuring the regularity of collection and transportation work to the public dump, which contributes to maintaining a healthy environment. And clean.
With regard to occupancy, the governor stressed the implementation of daily morning and evening campaigns, to remove any encroachments on the main road, whether by street vendors or non-compliant commercial activities, stressing that restoring discipline to Gizawi Street and achieving traffic fluidity represent a top priority for the executive agencies.
The governor also directed careful monitoring of public stores’ adherence to the scheduled closing times, indicating the intensification of oversight campaigns to immediately deal with any violations. Violations that may affect citizens’ comfort or cause inconvenience. In the context of enhancing direct communication with the people, Engineer Adel Al-Najjar stressed the need to clearly announce within the technology centers and government facilities the date of the fixed weekly meeting with citizens, stressing the importance of these meetings in listening to problems and making quick executive decisions that contribute to improving the level of services and meeting the needs of citizens on the ground.
