The President of Healthcare launches the Authority’s 2025-2032 strategy and the final recommendations of the annual forum

The Public Health Care Authority concluded the activities of the sixth annual international forum for the year 2025, by launching the authority’s strategy 2025–2032, as well as announcing the final recommendations of the forum.
This came during the closing session of the forum, which was launched under the slogan “Leading Excellence: A New Era for Healthcare in Egypt” “The strategic path for the future”, and the session included an elite group of Egyptian and international experts.
The closing session touched on how to enhance the Authority’s gains and confront future challenges through a set of strategic interventions that reflect the Authority’s vision in developing the comprehensive health insurance system.
The session was attended by Dr. Hani Rashed, Vice President of the Authority, Dr. Magdy Bakr, Advisor to the President of the Authority for Technical Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Hammad, Advisor to the President of the Authority. of Health Policies and Systems, the Director General of Strategic Management, Dr. Sally Abdel Raouf, Assistant CEO for Facilities Readiness Affairs and Director General of Branch Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Salim, an expert in health management.
Dr. Ahmed Al Subki, President of the General Authority for Health Care and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, announced the launch of the Authority’s five-year strategy 2032, which is based on six main strategic objectives, explaining its goals, its vision, and its connection to modern governance and evidence- and data-based management within the Authority, with Explaining the steps for its development and the stages of its preparation with the participation of international experts and the Authority’s various teams.
The Chairman of the Health Care Authority announced that the Authority’s new strategy is based on six basic axes that constitute the general framework for development directions during the next stage; It begins with strengthening the authority’s position as the leading provider of health care services to achieve comprehensive health coverage, by ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical effectiveness, equitable access, and an outstanding patient experience.
The second axis comes to establishing sustainability and financial efficiency and striving towards a self-financing model. The strategy also sets a third axis for leadership in technology and innovation by developing a modern model of service delivery based on advanced digital solutions.
While the fourth axis focuses on developing human capital by providing Qualified and motivated cadres, enhancing the well-being of workers and ensuring continuous professional development. The fifth axis seeks to make the authority a regional center for health knowledge in the field of health systems transformation and innovation at the level of the Middle East and Africa. Construction is completed by the sixth axis, which strengthens partnerships with the private sector and civil society organizations through innovative mechanisms that expand the scope of services and raise levels of efficiency and innovation within the health system.
Noting that the new strategy constitutes a modern roadmap for data-driven governance and management. And analysis within the Authority, in a way that enhances transparency and supports continuous development paths.
He explained that the new strategy represents the greatest return and the most important output for this forum, because of its integrated vision for development, organization and expansion.
Al-Sabki revealed the completion of the preparation of 133 new strategic performance indicators in partnership with international experts and with the support of the French Development Agency, explaining that these indicators will be applied uniformly to all departments, branches and facilities of the Authority to enhance consistency, improve the quality of services and raise the level of Transparency.
He stressed that the launch of the strategy came after a series of extensive workshops and meetings in which the authority’s leaders and work teams in various departments participated, in addition to a comprehensive update of the procedural work guides and linking the results to development paths to ensure continuous improvement.
The Chairman of the Health Care Authority also announced the final recommendations of the forum, which concluded with the adoption of an interconnected package of priorities based on five main axes; It included developing the institutional operating model by modernizing the governance system, unifying performance management systems, linking them to continuous improvement, and enhancing data-based management, in addition to raising the quality of health services by supporting the operational readiness of facilities, enhancing the efficiency of basic care, and expanding priority specialized programs.
The recommendations also stressed the importance of advancing the digital transformation engine by expanding health information systems, digitizing the service, and enhancing the use of artificial intelligence, in parallel with capacity building through advanced training programs, developing second-level leaders, and adopting training programs. International.
The recommendations concluded by emphasizing deepening international partnerships and enhancing financial sustainability by expanding international cooperation, supporting sustainable financing mechanisms, and intensifying partnerships in the areas of institutional development and digital transformation.
