Tourism and Antiquities hosts the annual conference of a German association in Hurghada
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, is currently hosting the annual conference of the German BEST-REISEN Association, one of the largest travel agency associations in Germany, in the city of Hurghada in the Red Sea Governorate.
This conference is considered one of the largest tourism events hosted by Egypt. This year the conference is held under the sponsorship of Dertour Group and the Aldiana and Sentido brands, and includes a program of events that includes performances And charity competitions to support DER Touristik Foundation projects. The conference is also a distinguished platform for exchanging visions about the future of German tourism and Egypt’s growing role as a major destination for this market.
Engineer Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, confirmed that Egypt’s hosting of this event comes as a continuation of a series of important international events hosted by the city of Hurghada this November, including the annual conference of the RTK Association, and the annual conference of the German tour operator Anex Tour, which was held for the first time in Egypt.
He explained that these events reflect the strength of The confidence of the German market in the Egyptian destination opens broader horizons for cooperation with professional partners in one of the most important tourist markets in Egypt, which contributes to increasing incoming traffic in the coming years. It also consolidates Egypt’s position as a distinguished destination for conference, meetings and incentives (MICE) tourism.
