Dr. Sherif El-Gabaly, Chairman of the African Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, stressed that the Egyptian political momentum on the continent needs a stronger economic translation, noting that the economic presence is still limited and concentrated in the contracting sector.
This came during his speech at the first Egyptian-African Economic Conference organized by the newspaper “Al-Ahram Hebdo”. Under the slogan “The Africa we want… integration and partnership for the future.”
Gabali explained that strengthening the Egyptian presence in Africa requires working as a single bloc, saying: “One of the most prominent problems is that each party works separately, without comprehensive coordination between the ministries, agencies and companies concerned.”
