المملكة: "Al-Sheikh" He directs that the next Friday sermon be devoted to integrity and fighting corruption

Issue , Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh directed mosque preachers in various regions of the Kingdom to devote the sermon next Friday, corresponding to 6/14/1447 AH, to talking about integrity, honesty, and , the importance of preserving public money and not attacking it, and the necessity of reporting and its perpetrators.
It included directives to mosque preachers that their sermons include a number of topics, foremost of which is an explanation of the status of honesty in Islam and that it is one of the characteristics of believers and the measure of the goodness of society, based on the Almighty’s saying: "And those who are steadfast in their trusts and covenants."And God Almighty says: "God commands you to return trusts to their rightful owners."
The danger of administrative and financial corruption
As well as alerting to the danger of administrative and financial corruption and its effects on the stability and development of societies and individuals, based on the words of the Blessed and Most High (and do not corrupt the earth after it has been set in order).
The directive also included an emphasis on the prohibition of assaulting public funds, exploiting one’s position for personal interests, and warning against the crime of bribery, based on the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him: (The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was cursed. May God bless him and grant him peace, the one who bribes and the bribed), and according to what he, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said in the hadith of Khawla bint Qais Al-Ansariyya, who said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say (Men who engage in God’s wealth without right will have Hell on the Day of Resurrection).
Preserving the nation’s capabilities
The directive also emphasized the need for preachers during the sermon to highlight the impact of integrity in preserving the nation’s capabilities and that it is a reason for blessing and sustaining the blessing of prosperity, as well as reminding the worshipers. He urged them to report any manifestation of corruption, and to explain that this is a legitimate and national duty that contributes to protecting society, preserving rights, deterring those who attack public funds, and averting harm to the country and its people.
It should be noted that the Ministry is working on following up on the implementation of this directive in all mosques, in a way that ensures the delivery of the legitimate and national message that contributes to raising awareness, and consolidating the values of honesty, integrity, and combating corruption.
