Girona turns the tables on Madrid with Moroccan feet in the first half

The first half of the confrontation between Real Madrid and Girona ended with the hosts leading by one goal to none, in a half that witnessed clear control by the Merengues over the course of the game and imposing continuous offensive pressure on the Catalan team’s goal.

A valuable goal

With the 40th minute coming, Kylian Mbappe succeeded in snatching the lead for Real Madrid after an organized attack, but the match referee canceled the goal due to a handball on the French striker inside the area. Penalty, depriving the royal team of a valuable goal that could have changed the course of the half.

 

 

Turning the tables

In the 45th minute, Moroccan Azzedine Ouanahi was able to turn the tables on Real Madrid, after exploiting a defensive error to score the first goal for Girona, ending the first half with the hosts ahead.
