Reception center for sons and daughters of Diwan employees "Solidarity" Children’s Day is celebrated in the new capital
The reception center for the sons and daughters of employees at the General Office of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the New Capital was organized under the supervision of the Central Administration for Family and Women’s Affairs – The General Administration of Children’s Affairs held a celebration that included a number of activities, performances, and various artistic workshops, in which children participated effectively, under the supervision of specialists, within the framework of childhood holiday celebrations.
The celebration included Implementing artistic activities and printing workshops, including stencil printing of shapes of flowers and trees, a workshop for three-dimensional cards about childhood holidays, a collage workshop for making cartoon shapes, printing simplified shapes for children, and drawing and coloring that highlight children’s fun on Children’s Day, within the framework of supporting the child’s psychological and mental development.
The center also organized the activities of the “Our children learn about the great Egyptian civilization” week. Within the framework of celebrating the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the activities included the implementation of a group of educational, recreational and artistic activities aimed at introducing children to the ancient Egyptian civilization and Pharaonic symbols.
It included the implementation of models of the pyramids and a number of Pharaonic antiquities using environmentally friendly materials, in addition to presenting illustrated stories about the great Pharaoh kings in a simplified and interesting style appropriate to the age stage of the children.
He participated in The activities were for children from the age group of 2 to 6 years, and the end of the week witnessed Pharaonic fashion shows and short exhibition segments, which reflected the knowledge and information that the children had acquired about ancient Egyptian history.
It is worth noting that the center hosting the children of employees of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, which was opened by Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, includes 77 male and female children of employees of the Ministry and other ministries in the neighborhood. The center comes as a basic and important step to provide a safe, advanced and comprehensive educational and health environment, in addition to its role in facilitating the task of working mothers and enabling them to perform their work.
The center was established in accordance with international standards and standards, through cooperation with the International Cooperation Authority (JICA), to contribute to the development of academic programs and activities provided to children within the center, which are activities aimed at supporting Developing the skills and abilities of the Egyptian child.
