Thursday.. The door for receiving nominations for the midterm elections of the Veterinary Doctors Association opened

 The General Syndicate of Veterinarians, headed by Dr. Magdy Hassan, General Syndicate, announced the opening of applications for candidacy for the mid-term elections for the General Syndicate Council and the Sub-Union Council in Qena Governorate, next Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Nomination applications will continue to be received for 10 consecutive days, ending on Saturday, December 13, 2025, provided that applications received by mail (sent during the legal period) will be received. Previously referred to) during the period from December 14 to 16.

 

The initial lists of candidates are scheduled to be announced on Thursday, December 18, 2025, followed by the opening of appeals and objections for a period of three days (from December 20 to 22), then receiving grievances and concessions (from December 23 to 25), leading to the announcement of the final lists of candidates on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Through the official page of the Syndicate, the General Syndicate has set Monday, March 30, 2026 as the date for conducting the electoral process.

 

In a related context, the General Syndicate sent an open invitation to all members who wish to work in public and who possess the vision and will, to submit their nomination papers, stressing that the Syndicate is the professional home for every veterinarian, and its true strength lies in the participation of its loyal members who are able to give, especially the serious groups that possess the vision and will. To serve their colleagues and advance the common good of the profession. 

 

The Veterinary Doctors Syndicate – in a statement today, Tuesday – called on the members of the General Assembly to assume their responsibility in choosing the best fit when voting, by evaluating the candidates in light of these specifications and standards; She said: The voice of every colleague is a trust, and it is the duty of all of us to give it to the one who is most capable of serving his colleagues, keen on the public interest, and most committed to integrity and hard work, until the elections produce a council that truly expresses the aspirations of veterinarians and defends their rights.

 

The General Syndicate of Veterinarians confirmed that it encourages every qualified and loyal veterinarian to go through the candidacy experience, and that it stands at the same distance from all candidates, and respects them.
