Salem Al-Dosari leads Saudi Arabia to an exciting victory over Oman in the Arab Cup

Saudi star Salem Al-Dosari led his country to achieve a thrilling 2-1 victory over Oman in the opening of its matches in the second group of the Arab Cup, after a decisive performance during which he scored both goals of the victory, before coming close to scoring himself on more than one occasion. With this victory, the Saudi team wins the first three points and is tied with Morocco at the top of the group after the end of the first round.

Salem Al-Dosari, the best player in Asia, appeared remarkably, after making the first goal in the 55th minute from a perfect cross that Firas Al-Braikan converted into the net. In the 77th minute, Al-Dossari repeated the same scenario by creating a second cross from which Saleh Al-Shehri scored the winning goal.

On the other hand, the Oman national team scored its only goal in the 70th minute through Ghanem Al-Habashi, who scored a beautiful header that temporarily restored balance, before “Al-Akhdar” regained its lead.

Salem Al-Dosari almost scored a wonderful goal in the 90th minute after a powerful shot hit the post, before he succeeded in scoring a third goal in the 95th minute from a clear shot alone, but the goal was canceled due to offside.

With this victory, the Moroccan team leads the group on goal difference after defeating the Comoros 3-1, followed by the Saudi team with the same score of points, which paves the way for a strong struggle for the two qualification cards during the next two rounds.
