المملكة: An extended vacation for students next week…and the first semester exams start on Rajab 15 – Urgent

General education students, male and female, and all educational and administrative staff in the Kingdom’s schools, are preparing, at the end of the working day on Wednesday next week, to enter The second extended vacation for this semester, at a time when the Ministry of Education confirmed the middle of the next month of Rajab as a final and binding date for the start of written tests, to outline the features of the end of the current semester for all levels.

The Ministry has set the fifth of the coming month of Rajab to complete monitoring grades for the year’s work for the “second period,” directing schools to notify students and their parents of the results immediately, to enable them to correct deficiencies and begin remediation and improvement processes before it is too late.

The Ministry stressed the continuation of improvement and academic follow-up processes without stopping until the last moments, placing the day on the twelfth of the month. Rajab is the final date for closing the monitoring of formative assessment subjects and approving grades for the year’s work for subjects that require a final assessment, to ensure accuracy of monitoring and fairness of evaluation.

It officially approved the fifteenth of the month of Rajab as the date for the start of the final written exams, which will continue for five continuous days, with the aim of accurately measuring the academic and cognitive achievement of students, in preparation for closing the semester file and announcing the final results.
