The greatest negotiator… Donald Trump’s name on the facade of the US Institute of Peace building
The name Donald Trump at the façade of the US Institute of Peace in Washington on Wednesday, on the eve of the signing ceremony of a peace agreement between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda.
The US State Department said on its official account on the X application: "This morning, the State Department renamed the Peace Institute in honor of the greatest negotiator in our country’s history. Welcome to the Donald Trump Peace Institute." Her post was accompanied by a photo.
This was the same institute that was established in 1984 during the presidency of Congress aims to prevent and resolve international conflicts, and until the beginning of the year it had researchers specialized in international issues, as is the case in any research institution.
The signing ceremony of the peace agreement between the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda is scheduled to be held at the headquarters of this institution in central Washington, in the presence of Donald Trump and the presidents of the two countries, respectively, Felix Tshisekedi and Paul Kagame.
Trump says that he deserves to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end many conflicts in The world, in the Gaza Strip and between India and Pakistan and between Cambodia and Thailand and others.
