The Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff held a number of bilateral meetings at the end of the meeting "EDEX 2025"

Lieutenant General Abdul Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with "Jai Kabombo Mwadayamvita" Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Peter Delov, Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria.

 

This came within the framework of the General Command of the Armed Forces’ keenness to strengthen military cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries  On the sidelines of the activities of the closing day of the Fourth International Defense Industries Exhibition (EDEX – 2025).

 

Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr also met with “Ahmed Moallem Faki” The Minister of Defense of the Somali Democratic Republic, in the presence of Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Major General Odwa Yusuf Raji, Commander of the Somali Armed Forces.

 

The meetings discussed a number of topics of common interest, as well as ways to enhance cooperation in various military fields.

 

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also met with Major General Serafin Ndong Mba. Nakara, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the State of Equatorial Guinea, in the presence of Major General Candido Nkoge Ingoni Machama, Deputy Minister of National Defence. The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Moussa Barumo, also met with the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the State of Niger. The meetings discussed supporting military cooperation relations and exchanging experiences between both sides during the next stage.

 

Within the framework of the General Command of the Armed Forces’ keenness to follow up on all final procedures For the exhibition, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, made an inspection tour of the exhibition’s pavilions and passed by a number of exhibiting companies, where he expressed his appreciation for the active participation and all the organizational procedures that contributed to the emergence of this edition at a distinguished level, which received wide international attention throughout its activities.

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces also made an inspection tour of a number of pavilions at the exhibition, pointing out the importance of this exhibition in supporting military cooperation and partnerships between various brotherly and friendly countries, and the keenness of all military circles to follow everything that is new.
