Sharjah, December 5, 2017 – The Sharjah Book Authority, during its participation in the Mexico International Book Fair, which continues until December 7, opened the horizons of cooperation and joint work between the Emirati cultural movement and its Mexican and Latin counterparts, as it reviewed Sharjah’s experience in building knowledge societies and leading a development project based on cultural dialogue and investment in the awareness of individuals and communities.

During the exhibition, which is one of the largest and most important book fairs in Latin America, the Authority held 30 professional meetings with an elite group of cultural institutions, publishers, and government bodies concerned with the knowledge and creativity industry, with the aim of exploring new cooperation projects, exchanging experiences, and developing initiatives that contribute to supporting the translation and publishing movement and transferring Arabic content into international languages.
