The Foreign Ministers of the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar express deep concern over Israeli statements about opening the Rafah crossing in one direction.

ABU DHABI, 5 December / WAM / The Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Turkey, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Qatar express deep concern about the statements issued by the Israeli side regarding the opening of the Rafah crossing in one direction with the aim of removing the residents of the Gaza Strip to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The ministers stress the complete rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land, and stress the necessity of full commitment to the plan of US President Donald Trump, which included opening the Rafah crossing in both directions, ensuring the freedom of movement of the population, and not forcing any of the people of the Gaza Strip to leave, but rather creating the appropriate conditions for them to remain on their land and participate in building their homeland, within the framework of an integrated vision to restore stability and improve their humanitarian conditions.
The ministers renew their appreciation for President Trump’s commitment to establishing peace in the region, and stress the importance of moving forward with the implementation of President Trump’s plan with all its entitlements without postponement or disruption, in order to achieve security and peace, and consolidate the foundations of regional stability. In this context, the Ministers stress the need to fully consolidate the ceasefire, put an end to the suffering of civilians, ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip without restrictions or obstacles, initiate early recovery and reconstruction efforts, and create conditions for the return of the Palestinian Authority to assume its responsibilities in the Gaza Strip, thus establishing a new phase of security and stability in the region.
The ministers affirm their countries’ readiness to continue working and coordinating with the United States of America and all relevant regional and international parties, to ensure the full implementation of Security Council Resolution No. 2803 and all relevant Council resolutions, and to provide an enabling environment to achieve a just, comprehensive and sustainable peace in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the principle of the two-state solution, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, including the occupied territories in Gaza and the West Bank, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
