Hossam Hassan: The Egyptian national team is ready for the 2026 World Cup…and we always play to win

Hossam Hassan, the coach of the first Egyptian national football team, confirmed that since his presence at the head of the technical leadership of the team, and permanently, the Pharaohs have been playing to win and achieve positive results, which will also happen in the 2026 World Cup.
The World Cup draw, which took place this evening in Washington, resulted in the Egyptian national team being in the seventh group alongside Belgium, Iran and New Zealand.
Regarding the Egyptian national team group, Hossam Hassan said in a statement. To him: “We are ready and will do our best to be in the best positions in the World Cup and to appear in a distinguished manner in the most important event in the world, and we have great players who have the desire, along with the technical staff, to achieve distinguished results in the World Cup.”
He added, “We are currently focusing on the 2025 African Cup of Nations, which starts in a few days in brotherly Morocco, and we aim to reach the furthest extent.”
