The Foreign Minister meets the Egyptian community in Qatar

At the beginning of his visit to Qatar, he met with Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, met with members of the Egyptian community in Qatar, on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the beginning of his current visit to participate in the Doha Forum.

 

 

Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the meeting comes within the framework of the Foreign Minister’s keenness to listen to the visions and proposals of the Egyptian community regarding developing the services provided to them and strengthening ties with the homeland, as the meeting witnessed. An interactive discussion with the members of the community dealt with a number of topics related to their various conditions and needs, adding that Minister Abdel Ati noted during the meeting the Ministry’s keenness to provide Egyptians abroad with the utmost care, pointing to the commitment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its missions abroad to provide easy consular services and intensify communication with Egyptian communities.

 

 

Minister Abdel Ati also expressed the state’s appreciation for the important role played by the people of The Egyptian community in Qatar, as they are honorable models for their country and essential supporters of the national economy.

 

 

 

Minister Abdel-Aty reviewed the efforts made by the Egyptian state to launch a wide package of initiatives directed to serve Egyptians abroad, whether in the areas of housing, investment, education, money transfer, or simplifying consular procedures, stressing that all of these initiatives aim to provide tangible support that meets their needs and enhances their connection. In their homeland.

 

 

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs called on members of the community to continue their active participation in national entitlements, stressing that the cohesion of Egyptians at home and abroad represents a basic foundation for supporting the state and advancing the development process.
