The club is throwing me under the bus

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah escalated his tone towards Liverpool, after clearly expressing his frustration and anger at his current situation within the team, stressing that he feels that the club is “throwing him under the bus,” in reference to holding him responsible for something he does not bear, after the “Reds” tied with Leeds United in the English Premier League.
Salah confirmed that the result was disappointing, especially after Liverpool advanced by two goals at the beginning of the match, before conceding goals that he described as “trivial,” stressing that these mistakes occurred even during the periods in which he was a starter, refusing to use what happened to defend himself.
The Egyptian national team captain spoke frankly about his technical situation, saying that sitting on the bench for the third match in a row is unprecedented in his career, adding: “I am very disappointed… I gave a lot to this club, and everyone knows that, especially last season, but today I am sitting on the bench and I do not know why.”
Salah added: “It seems as if the club is throwing me under the bus, and there are those who want to place all the blame on me,” revealing at the same time the promises he received from Liverpool’s management last summer, none of which have been implemented yet.
In a touching humanitarian aspect, Salah revealed that he contacted his mother before the match and asked her to attend, despite his prior knowledge that he would not participate in the starting lineup, telling her: “It does not matter if I play or not, I will have fun,” stressing that the next match at Anfield may be his last farewell before heading to participate in the African Cup of Nations.
The Liverpool star did not rule out that this would be his last match in a Reds shirt, in light of the uncertainty surrounding his future, stressing at the same time that his love for the club will always remain, and that he will support Liverpool forever, whatever the decision.
This comes after Liverpool tied with Leeds United in the English Premier League, and Mohamed Salah remained on the bench for the third match in a row, in an open crisis that may redraw the relationship between the Egyptian star and his club.
