Ibrahim Saber launches an urgent follow-up plan for building violations, legalization, and encroachments

Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, held an expanded meeting to follow up on the reconciliation files on building violations, spatial variables, wave 26 to remove encroachments, the legalization file, the investment plan, and building permits, as well as the percentages of completion in these files.

Mona Al-Batrawi, Deputy Governor for the Eastern Region, and Ashraf Mansour, Deputy Governor for the Southern Region, participated in the meeting, along with the heads of the two regions’ neighborhoods and officials of spatial and property variables in the governorate and neighborhoods.

He confirmed that The governor speedy completion of the investment plan projects for the fiscal year 2024/2025 and overcoming any obstacles that may slow down the implementation process, to ensure adherence to the specified timetables.

He stressed the importance of providing the necessary facilities to citizens who are serious about legalizing their conditions in accordance with the laws and executive regulations, with continuous monitoring of performance rates and completion rates in each district, and simplifying procedures in a way that achieves the public good.

He called on citizens who submitted reconciliation requests under the Reconciliation Law. 187 of 2023, in order to preserve their rights and achieve the public interest.

The governor also stressed the heads of neighborhoods, in coordination with the Department of Spatial Variables, to monitor and remove any violations immediately, and to deal firmly with all forms of illegal construction or encroachments on state-owned lands, to ensure that they are not repeated and to protect Rights of the state and the citizen.
