The Governor of Luxor inspects the Nile Corniche in preparation for the governorate’s National Day

Engineer Abdel Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, conducted a tour this Sunday evening on Nile Corniche Street to check on the final preparations for the governorate’s National Day celebrations, follow up on the work of decorating the Christmas and New Year holidays, and also inspect the security situation in the region.

The Governor of Luxor was accompanied during the tour by Major General Dr. Ali Al-Sharabi, President of Luxor City, and a number of executive leaders. The governor stressed the necessity of intensifying cleaning and beautification work in the streets and squares, and raising the degree of preparedness in all facilities. And public services, in a manner befitting the tourist status of Luxor and the governorate’s National Day celebrations.

He directed the continuation of field follow-up to ensure the readiness of tourist sites and vital roads, and to provide amenities for visitors and residents, praising the efforts of workers in various sectors to present the city in an appropriate manner.
