The coach of the Egyptian national team, Helmy Tolan, acknowledged the difficulty of facing the Jordanian national team in the third round of the group stage of the 2025 Arab Cup tournament held in Qatar, stressing that the match will be decisive to determine the team that will accompany “Al-Nashama” to the second round. On the other hand, the technical director of the Jordanian national team, Jamal Al-Salami, stressed the readiness of his players to achieve victory and maintain the lead in the group, during the press conference held before the match.

Tolan explained that the Jordanian national team has a distinguished group of players, which increases the difficulty of the “Pharaohs’” task in this fateful match. He added that the technical staff will make some changes to the starting lineup, expressing at the same time his confidence in the players and their ability to provide better performance. He also apologized to the Egyptian fans for the unsatisfactory results, saying: “I do not shirk responsibility, and I am responsible for what happens to my team.”

For his part, Jamal Al-Salami stressed that the goal of the Jordanian national team is to win and consolidate the lead, indicating the possibility of making changes to the starting lineup with the aim of resting some players and avoiding them receiving cards that may affect their participation in the upcoming rounds.

Al-Salami added that the confrontation with the Egyptian national team will be strong, and that the technical staff will work to study the playing style of the “Pharaohs” to adopt the most appropriate formation for this match, which is considered crucial in determining the second-place finisher in the group.

The two teams will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, at Al Bayt Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, at 6:30 pm UAE time.

It is noteworthy that the Jordanian team leads the group with 6 points after its victory over the Emirates and Kuwait, while the Egyptian team occupies second place with two points after its draw with Kuwait and the Emirates, which comes in third place. As for the Kuwaiti team, it occupies last place in the group with one point.
