The Egyptian community in Italy begins voting in the House of Representatives elections
The process of voting for Egyptian voters in Italy began today, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Embassy in Rome and the General Consulate in Milan, in the elections for the House of Representatives in the canceled districts of the first stage on the first day of voting by Egyptians abroad, which will be held on December 8 and 9, according to the schedule issued by the National Elections Authority.
Voting began at nine in the morning and continues until nine in the evening, Italian time, for members of the Egyptian community, amid a distinguished organizational atmosphere on the first day of voting. Egyptians abroad in run-off constituencies in the House of Representatives elections for 30 constituencies abroad.
The Egyptian Embassy in Rome and the General Consulate in Milan provided all the necessary technical and organizational facilities to citizens; To ensure the ease and smoothness of voting procedures, with full compliance with the instructions of the National Elections Authority.
It was keen to inform citizens of the electoral due date through the pages of the Embassy and the General Consulate in Milan on social networking sites, and the procedures regulating the voting process.
Many members of the community were keen to be present in front of the committees before the start of voting to cast their votes, stressing the good organization and their keenness to exercise their constitutional right.
The House of Representatives elections will be held in The districts canceled from the first stage by the rulings of the Supreme Administrative Court, numbering 30 districts in 10 governorates on Monday and Tuesday, corresponding to the 8th and 9th of this month of December abroad, and on Wednesday and Thursday, corresponding to the 10th and 11th of this month at home, and the results will be announced on December 18th.
