"Furjan Dubai" The 54th Union Day celebrations conclude in Al Khawaneej and Jumeirah with the participation of 90,000 visitors

Dubai, 8 December / WAM / The Farjan Dubai Foundation concluded its celebrations of the 54th Union Day, which was held within the framework of the National Month, and extended during the period from 1 to 7 December in the Al Khawaneej and Jumeirah areas, amid a large public presence of about 90,000 participants in the “Al Warfa” and “Al Dana” events, which provided a rich model of community activities aimed at strengthening the spirit of union and consolidating the national identity in the neighborhoods of Dubai.

The events this year came to combine celebrating this national occasion, supporting citizen entrepreneurs, and showcasing artistic, musical, handicrafts and heritage talents in a way that restored the Emirati neighborhood to its authentic spirit, and consolidated the values ​​of solidarity and sharing on which the UAE was founded since its founding.

Furjan Dubai expressed its pride in the great success of the events this year, stressing that this momentum reflects the position of community events in strengthening the connection to national identity, and providing vibrant spaces for the people of Dubai to celebrate national occasions in the heart of residential neighbourhoods.

The Al Khawaneej and Jumeirah areas witnessed great momentum over the course of an entire week, as Al Warfa and Al Dana squares witnessed the participation of a group of restaurants, small national projects, heritage shows, children’s activities, and interactive activities that received great interaction from families, in addition to Emirati craftsmen who revived features of the local heritage through their handicrafts.

A number of artistic bands and local talents also participated, presenting various performances that maintained the national and festive character, and created an atmosphere of joy among Dubai’s residents and visitors, which made this year’s events one of the largest editions in terms of turnout and community interaction.

A number of emerging national project owners had a unique opportunity to showcase their products to thousands of visitors, in a step that reflects Furjan Dubai’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and providing direct platforms that enable them to reach the public and expand their customer base.
