His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman praised the graduates’ efforts and their professional and academic achievements, which are consistent with Ajman Vision 2030, in building an advanced government apparatus capable of keeping pace with transformations and creating pioneering models of institutional performance.
His Highness said: “We value your diligence and commitment to honing your skills, and what this dedication demonstrates is the keenness to improve the quality of government work, and investing in your capabilities is an investment in the future of the emirate, and your role today represents an important step towards providing more efficient and quality services to the Ajman community.”
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stressed that the efficiency of government work is measured by its ability to improve the quality of life and meet people’s needs, pointing out that the culture of leadership in Ajman has become a consistent approach that is reflected in daily practices and work methods.
The “Professional Diploma – Career Excellence Evaluator” program is the first of its kind in the country, as it aims to prepare evaluators capable of evaluating job performance according to the highest standards of quality and excellence, and to empower them with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply evaluation methodologies within their institutions, while the “Professional Diploma – Government Services Evaluator” contributes to preparing and qualifying evaluators of national competencies in evaluating the quality of government services in accordance with best international practices and standards.
These programs come within the efforts of the Ajman government to establish a culture of excellence and leadership in institutional work, and to build government capabilities capable of conducting continuous internal evaluation and supporting sustainable development.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman also honored with the “Service Star Badge” a group of distinguished national talents who demonstrated an exceptional presence in providing service to customers, in appreciation of their excellence in dealing with customers and the speed of completing services.
The honors included Nasser Al Marzouqi, Nouf Al Kaabi, and Aqeel Al Awadhi from the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation, Asmaa Al Marzouqi from the Department of Municipality and Planning, and Zainab Al Ali from the Department of Ports and Customs.
The “Service Star Badge” initiative is one of the government motivation tools in Ajman, as it highlights the excellence of employees and the quality of their dealings with customers and in appreciation of the speed of delivery and flexibility in dealing they provided.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman said: “Today, we are proud to honor an elite group of the emirate’s people who embodied the values of excellence and mastery in their work, and contributed with their efforts to enhancing the quality of government services in Ajman and raising customer satisfaction.”
His Highness added that honoring those who received the “Service Star Badge” is an appreciation for their efforts and commitment to providing the best services to customers, indicating that this type of initiative is a role model for motivation based on excellence and improving institutional performance.
The initiative establishes an approach to motivation based on real performance, as it relies mainly on the exceptional observations of distinguished employees through the “Secret Shopper” program, to ensure objectivity. This methodology has contributed to highlighting distinguished national models from various quarters.
Professional diplomas come after studying ways to achieve and sustain leadership to establish a solid base in the region from various dimensions covering aspects of institutional excellence, employees and services, and develop national expertise capable of implementing evaluation and review processes within their institutions, according to global methodologies, enabling the government to practice continuous internal evaluation and build sustainable institutional capacity.
This honor represents an important milestone in the emirate’s path towards building the “government of the future,” as it brings together three pivotal initiatives that form an integrated framework for institutional excellence. Starting with honoring individual performance, through the “Service Star” initiative, in addition to building competencies through professional diplomas, which contributes to accelerating the completion of services and improving customer satisfaction and happiness.
