“Fakih Al-Jama’i” opens an integrated mental health care unit

Today, Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai opened an integrated mental health care unit (internally and externally), in addition to an advanced blood donation centre.
The opening took place during a ceremony held in the Dr. Sulaiman Fakeeh Hall in Dubai Silicon Oasis, in the presence of Dr. Younis Kazim, Executive Director of the Health Regulation Sector at the Dubai Health Authority, and with the participation of a number of consultants and experts.
The new unit is expected to provide integrated services, including: psychological assessment, drug treatment, individual and group psychotherapy, and rehabilitation support, within a therapeutic environment that respects the highest levels of privacy and comfort.
As for the blood donation centre, the center is scheduled to contribute to supporting the health sector’s efforts in responding quickly to critical cases.
On this occasion, Dr. Younis Kazim said that the increasing demand for quality medical services is the main catalyst behind the expansion of hospitals in various specialized departments, in order to meet the needs of those seeking integrated health care, whether from inside or outside the country.
Dr. Kazim congratulated Fakeeh Hospital and all its officials and employees on the new expansions, which represent an important addition to the healthcare system in Dubai.
