Our qualification is well deserved… and coaching “Al-Abyad” is a great honor

The coach of the Romanian Emirates national team, Olario Cosmin, confirmed that “Al-Abyad” deserved to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Arab Football Cup, stressing that coaching the Emirati “Al-Abyad” team is a great honor for him.
“Al-Abyad” won three goals to one over Kuwait today, in the third round of the group stage, for the third group, to advance to second place with 4 points, accompanying the leading Jordanian team with the full mark and qualifying in first place with 9 points.
Cosmin said in television statements after the match: “We deserved to come back and qualify. The players performed well today, so it is a well-deserved qualification for us today.”
He added: “Egypt also played well but did not succeed in qualifying.”
The Egyptian and UAE teams tied in the last round, 1/1.
The coach said: “I have a good group of players and little by little we will do better… This is football. Yesterday we were sorry about the results, and today we are happy with what we achieved.”
Regarding his future in leading the UAE national team, especially after failing to qualify for the World Cup finals by losing to Iraq in the playoff round, Kuzmin said: “I came to the UAE national team to help, and it is a great honor for me to be here. I respect this country, and I hope that we will improve.”
