The penalty kick for “Al-Abyad” and the expulsion of the player Al-Enezi are two correct decisions

Former international referee and arbitration expert Abdullah Al-Ajel confirmed that Chinese referee Manning performed well in officiating the match between the UAE and Kuwait teams, which was held today, Tuesday, as part of the Arab Cup competitions in Doha, and ended with the UAE winning 3-1 and qualifying for the quarter-finals, indicating that his decisions were sound and did not negatively affect the course of the match.
Al-Ajel explained in a statement to Emirates Al-Youm that the penalty kick awarded by the referee to the Emirati team, which resulted in scoring the first goal in the 16th minute, was a correct decision, indicating that Kuwaiti player Sultan Al-Anzi blocked Al-Abyad player Yahya Al-Ghassani inside the penalty area.
The arbitration expert also stressed the validity of the referee’s decision to expel the Kuwaiti player, Sultan Al-Enezi, in the 54th minute, explaining that the player committed disgraceful behavior, which was confirmed by the video referee (VAR), and thus the decision was consistent with the law.
Al-Ajel pointed out that all four goals in the match (three for the UAE and one for Kuwait) were correct, stressing that the UAE team deserved to win well.
