The Governor of Giza follows the launch of the House of Representatives elections in 7 districts from within the control center

Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, followed up on the regularity of opening committees for the House of Representatives elections in 7 districts within the governorate from within the Emergency and Safety Control Center. 

 

The governor reviewed the opening report submitted by  Ibrahim Al-Shehabi, Deputy Governor, and Mohamed Nour El-Din, Secretary-General, which includes the arrival of those in charge of the electoral process to the headquarters of the committees on the specified dates, the beginning of receiving voters, and providing the needs of receiving the public from those who frequent the committees to cast their votes, in addition to facilitating the movement of people with special needs.

 

The governor directed the heads of neighborhoods, centers, and cities to follow up throughout the day and intensify the field presence in the vicinity of the committees to ensure the regularity of traffic movement, and prevent any Occupations, removing encroachments, and preventing the accumulation of waste, in cooperation with the General Administration of Giza Traffic, the Utilities Police, and the General Authority for Cleanliness and Beautification.

 

The governor also stressed the continuous follow-up of the deployment of emergency teams and the availability of water suction vehicles in the vicinity of each committee in preparation for any warnings about rainfall, with periodic follow-up around the clock of the governorate’s main operations room held at the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network in Diwan. General of the governorate, and receiving reports and reports received from sub-rooms at the headquarters of local agencies and units in order to quickly deal with any emergency situations.

 

The governor also confirmed full preparations to receive voters and prepare the headquarters and committees where the elections will be held today, Wednesday and tomorrow, Thursday. Dokki and Agouza, and the third district in the Badrashin Center, which includes the Badrashin and Ayat centers, and the sixth district in the Boulaq al-Dakrur district, in addition to the seventh district in the Omraniya district, which includes Omraniya and Talbieh.

 

The districts also include the ninth district in the Al-Ahram district, and the tenth district in the 1st of October district, which includes the cities of October Gardens, 6th of October City, Sheikh Zayed, and the oases, as well as the twelfth district in the Manshaya Center. Al-Qanater, which includes the areas of Auseem, Al-Warraq, and the Qanater facility. The governor directed the lifting of the state of emergency for all agencies and authorities concerned with organizing and following up on election work within the governorate to ensure the optimal conduct of the electoral process. The opening of the committees was witnessed by the Deputy Governor, Mohamed Nour, General Secretary, Mohamed Marhi, Assistant Secretary, Brigadier General Mohamed Ahmed Shafi’i, the military advisor to the governorate, and officials of the relevant agencies, bodies and departments.
