"Sharjah Kalba Festival" The seventh for the Arabian horse starts the day after tomorrow

Sharjah, December 10 / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club is organizing the day after tomorrow, Friday, the “Sharjah Kalba Seventh Arabian Horse Festival” on the city’s Corniche Beach, which marks the beginning of the activities of the Sharjah Kalba Seventh Equestrian Festival.

201 purebred Arabian horses from various stalls, clubs and stables in the country participate in the festival. It is intended for colts and fillies aged one to three years only and is accredited by the European Authority for Purebred Arabian Horse Competitions (ECAHO). It is held in cooperation with the Emirates Arabian Horse Association and sponsored by the Sharjah Sports Council, Sharjah Police General Command, Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority and many departments, institutions and stalls.

Sultan Muhammad Khalifa Al Yahyai, ​​Director General of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, confirmed that the Sharjah Kalba Arabian Horse Festival seeks to highlight the authentic aesthetics of Arabian horses through the great cooperation of partners and sponsors who had a fundamental role in the success of the event. The festival’s location on the Kalba Corniche beach constitutes an experience that combines sports, entertainment and tourism and enhances the emirate’s position as a leading destination for sports tourism, especially since the festival witnesses a range of events and recreational activities for the visiting public.
