The Minister of Labor witnesses the delivery of 405 employment contracts to people of determination in 27 governorates simultaneously
Today, Thursday, Minister of Labor, Muhammad Gibran, witnessed, via video conference technology, the activities of handing over 405 employment contracts to people of determination at the level of 27 governorates, as part of the ministry’s efforts to provide decent job opportunities and support their integration into the labor market in cooperation with private sector companies and institutions.
The Minister stressed during his speech that the delivery of contracts at a simultaneous time in all governorates reflects the state’s commitment to implementing the directives of the political leadership to empower people of determination and provide real job opportunities for them, stressing the need to follow up on the implementation of contracts and ensure the implementation of the minimum wage and improve the work environment in continuous coordination with the concerned parties in the private sector.
In a gesture that reflects the impact of the initiative, people of determination and their families submitted a letter of thanks and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in which they expressed their gratitude for the state’s keenness to support them and provide appropriate job opportunities for them in various governorates, stressing that handing over contracts simultaneously at the republic level represents an important humanitarian and development message that reflects the state’s interest in their rights and empowerment. The Minister also directed the relevant directorates to continue inspection campaigns to ensure compliance with the provisions of the new Labor Law No. 14 of the year 2025.
The Minister of Labor confirmed that the Ministry will continue to strengthen labor relations between both sides of the production process, including business owners and workers, and work to expand employment programs, especially for youth groups and people of determination, in a way that achieves social justice and enhances the development process witnessed by the Egyptian state.
