The Dubai Grand Prix for powerboats starts tomorrow

Dubai, December 11 / WAM / The Dubai Grand Prix competitions, the third and final leg of the X-Cat World Powerboat Championship, will begin tomorrow, which will continue until next Sunday, amid anticipation of deciding the world title for the 2026 season.
The participating teams completed their preparations through intensive training in the waters of Dubai, and official training will begin on Friday, followed by a race to determine the starting positions, then the first main race and its crowning ceremony.
New official training and a race to determine the starting positions will be held on Saturday, while Sunday will witness the final training and then the second and decisive main race, followed by the crowning of the season champions.
The “Victory” team, led by the duo Salem Al-Adidi and Issa Al Ali, on board boat No. 7, tops the list of participants, as the team leads the overall standings and is looking forward to winning the world title for the seventh time in its history.
The organizing committee opened the tournament village on Kite Beach in Jumeirah to receive fans and representatives of the participating teams, in an event that is considered one of the most prominent marine sporting events in Dubai during this time of the year.
