Dubai Police confirms smooth traffic movement during the festival activities "Hatta winter"
DUBAI, 11 December, 2018 (WAM) – Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police for Operations Affairs and Chairman of the Events Security Committee, called on visitors to the Hatta Hatta Festival and events to adhere to traffic and security laws and instructions, cooperate with policemen and organizers, especially during crowded times and weekends, adhere to traffic police instructions and safety instructions, monitor children, and not leave them unsupervised, in addition to contacting the number 999 for emergency cases and 901 for general inquiries and notes. He stressed the presence of an operations room in the area to enhance the speed of response and make visitors feel safe and secure.
This comes with the launch of the Hatta Winter Festival and events, which is organized by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Government Media Office, and continues until December 28 along Lim Lake.
Al Mazrouei confirmed that the insurance teams are intensifying their efforts in conjunction with the start of the second season of the festival, in cooperation with the Roads and Transport Authority, which provided flexible and smooth traffic movement.
Colonel Ali Obaid Al Badawi, Acting Director of Hatta Police Station, explained that Dubai Police, in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority, formed internal and external teams to secure traffic movement and distribute individuals in a thoughtful manner at the entrances and exits of events.
