Dubai Municipality has confirmed its full readiness to deal with emergency situations during rainfall, noting that its field teams are ready to respond quickly and handle reports resulting from weather fluctuations and rainfall in all regions of the emirate, as part of approved emergency plans to ensure public safety.

Dubai Municipality explained that it receives public reports around the clock via the WhatsApp service or by directly calling 800900, calling on community members to cooperate and immediately report any emergency cases, under the slogan “Your safety is our priority.”

In the same context, Ajman Municipality has set 4 safety measures in light of the prevailing weather conditions and rainfall, including “not leaving homes during the weather except for extreme necessity, not opening rain and sanitary drainage holes, and staying away from rainwater collecting sites, in addition to reporting any suspected cases of water change inside buildings,” confirming the readiness of its field teams to deal with various reports.

Ajman Municipality confirmed that it receives customer reports through its MPDA smart application or through the Ajman Call Center at 80070, indicating continued field readiness around the clock to maintain the safety of the community.

The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman announced its full preparations for the rainy season, through an integrated plan aimed at enhancing the emirate’s readiness and continuity of basic services, and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of residents.

Preparations included preparing 72 mobile pumps to drain rainwater distributed in various regions of the emirate, maintaining and developing 28 pumping stations to ensure their operational efficiency, in addition to implementing preventive work before the season.

The department explained that it is working according to a thoughtful, proactive plan to ensure the efficiency of the rainwater drainage system and the sustainability of infrastructure in various regions of the emirate.
