"Sharjah Women’s Run 2026" It takes place January 24th
Sharjah, December 15 / WAM / The Sharjah Ladies Club is organizing the eleventh edition of the “Sharjah Women’s Run 2026”, the event dedicated to women and girls in the emirate, next January 24 at Al Suyuh Ladies Park in Sharjah, under the slogan “Go into space and the future”, to provide an interactive experience that combines physical fitness and fun in an atmosphere full of vitality and positive energy.
The event is being held in implementation of the directives of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Sharjah Family and Community Council.
The logo for the new edition reflects the development witnessed by the event in its previous edition, which bore the slogan “Galaxy,” as it embodies the importance of sustainable development, environmental awareness, and reducing environmental impact, through the use of recycled materials in racing equipment, reducing plastic waste, and encouraging participants to adopt environmentally friendly practices that enhance the culture of community awareness.
The race includes a 5 km category, and the winners of the first three places will receive valuable cash prizes and prizes allocated to Emirati female competitors in order to encourage their participation.
The club called on all girls and women, starting from the age group of 12 years, to register via the club’s smart application and participate in this sporting event that combines fitness, fun and environmental awareness.
