The Minister of Solidarity witnesses the distribution of awards for the best civil society initiatives for the year 2025

Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, witnessed the award ceremony of the Excellence Award Competition for Civil Society Organizations in its ninth year, which was organized by the Development and Development Association, to announce the winners of the Excellence Awards for the year 2025.
Dr. Maya Morsi expressed her happiness with the event that honors the best initiatives and projects that provided innovative solutions and contributed to advancing Development.
She stressed that the competition has become a reflection of the seriousness of Egyptian civil society, which is transforming from local initiatives to replicable models of impact, noting that excellence in civil work is a public service measured by trust, quality and impact.
Development of the award and support of partnership
The Minister indicated that the Excellence Awards support the state’s trend towards partnership with civil society institutions, and revealed the introduction of two important awards this year:
1. Excellence Award for Overall Achievements: To honor institutions that have maintained continuity, quality, and governance development over the years.
2. Rapid Impact Excellence Award: to support innovative, quick-return solutions that intelligently address identified gaps. An invitation to the Ahl al-Khair feeding competition.
In a related context, the Minister of Social Solidarity extended an invitation to participate in the second phase of the Ahl al-Khair feeding competition, in cooperation with the Association Projects Support Fund, to select the most effective feeding campaigns, which will continue until the night of the next Ramadan, after the great success of the first phase, which witnessed the distribution of more than 52 million meals. Winners of the Excellence Awards 2025.
A number of winning associations were announced, as the community development associations in Al-Bashandi "New Valley" And the Scientific Society for Oncology Patient Care “Fayoum” And the Integrated Health Care Association “Dakhla” And Al-Firdaws Association for Sustainable Development won financial prizes in the main category.
As for the new categories, the Future Generations Association “Qena” won Overall Achievements Award, while Sanad Foundation for Comprehensive Development “Alexandria” won Rapid Impact Award. The Misr Bokra Development Association “Giza” also won.
