Heavy rains flood the tents of the displaced and injure a number of them in the Gaza Strip

A number of displaced people were injured today, Monday, as a result of a wall falling on one of their tents in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, as a result of the heavy rains that accompanied the depression hitting the Strip.

 

The Palestinian Wafa Agency explained that the wall collapsed as a result of strong winds and heavy rain, which led to injuries among the displaced people living in the tent. They were transferred to medical centers to receive treatment. Treatment.

In the same context, heavy rains caused the flooding of a large number of displaced people’s tents in various areas of the Gaza Strip, especially in low-lying areas, which exacerbated the suffering of thousands of families living in difficult humanitarian conditions in light of the lack of capabilities and the absence of means of protection from harsh weather conditions.

On the other hand, ten released prisoners arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah today, after the Israeli occupation forces released them a short while ago, It handed them over to Red Cross crews.

Medical sources reported that the prisoners underwent preliminary medical examinations, in light of difficult health conditions as a result of the conditions of their detention in “Cityman” prison.
