Registration is open for the Dubai Local Rowing Race

The Dubai International Marine Sports Club announced the opening of registration for the second round of the Dubai Local Rowing Race, scheduled to be held next Saturday, at the “Dubai Healthcare City Promenade, Phase 2” in the Al Jaddaf area in Dubai, amid expectations of strong competition in the local and open categories.

The organizing committee approved holding two rounds for the local category for Emiratis, which is open to government and private institutions, and may be increased pending the number of registrants. Two rounds were previously held for the local category in the first round after the number of registered people in this category reached 26 boats, while a total of 42 boats participated in that round.

The Director of the Sports Affairs Department at the Dubai International Marine Club, Mohammed Al Marri, confirmed that the next round of the Dubai Local Rowing Race constitutes a strong station, with the levels of participants rising exponentially after the first round, and with the continuation of intensive preparations after this round for the competitions of the 29th Al Maktoum Cup Local Rowing Race, which will be held on December 27th.
