An operations room coordinating youth parties and politicians was held to follow up on the course of the runoff round for the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, and to monitor the regularity of the electoral process, and continuous communication to follow up on the progress of voting within the various committees

 

The runoff round for the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections will take place over the course of two days, Wednesday and Thursday, December 17 and 18, in which 202 candidates will compete for 101 seats in 55 districts within 13 governorates.

The runoff round for the second stage includes 55 districts, including Dakahlia Governorate: a run-off in its entire districts, numbering 10 districts, Gharbia Governorate: a run-off of its entire districts, numbering 7 districts, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate: a run-off of its entire districts, numbering 4 districts, Menoufia Governorate: a run-off of its entire districts, numbering 6 districts, and Qalyubia Governorate: a run-off. The voting controls for Egyptians abroad, in accordance with the decision of the National Elections Authority, include that voting be by direct general secret ballot, and every voter must exercise this right himself.  The committees supervising the polling, counting, and counting of votes shall be formed from a sufficient number of members of the diplomatic and consular corps, and they shall be assisted by one or more original secretaries working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who shall be appointed by a decision from the National Elections Authority. If, upon the expiration of the deadline, voters are found in the Election Assembly who have not cast their votes, the head of the committee shall draw up a list of their names, and the election process shall continue until the completion of the vote.
