The forces confirmed that the punishment for Lighting a fire in places other than those designated in forests and national parks is subject to a fine of up to (3,000) riyals.
Camping without a license
The Special Forces of Environmental Security also arrested a citizen violating the environmental system; For committing a violation Camping without a license in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, and regular procedures were applied against him.
The forces explained that the penalty for violating camping in forests or national parks without a license is a fine of up to (3,000) riyals.
Transporting local firewood
While the Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested a citizen violating the environmental system; For transporting cubic meters of local firewood in the Riyadh region, regulatory procedures were applied against him, and the seized quantities were handed over to the competent authority.
The forces explained that the penalty for transporting local firewood and charcoal amounts to (16,000) riyals per cubic meter.
Grazing Violation
The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested a citizen violating the environmental system, for committing a violation. (30) camels grazed in sites where grazing was prohibited in the Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Royal Reserve, and regulatory procedures were applied against them.
The forces confirmed that the penalty for grazing camels is a fine of (500) riyals for each camel.
They urged to report any cases representing an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the regions of Mecca, Medina, and Riyadh. Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any responsibility on the part of the person reporting.
