The Minister of Sports congratulates athletics on winning 12 medals at the African Youth Games
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, congratulated the champions of the Egyptian athletics team following their distinguished participation in the African Youth Games competitions held in Angola 2025, which resulted in winning 12 various medals, in an achievement that reflects the advanced status of Egyptian sports on the continental level.
It came The medal tally is 6 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals, confirming the athletics champions’ ability to compete strongly and reach podiums in various competitions.
The Minister of Youth and Sports praised the honorable performance of the male and female players, appreciating the great efforts made by the technical staff. And the administrative and administrative support provided by the Egyptian state to the national teams, which contributes to preparing a generation of champions capable of achieving achievements and raising the Egyptian flag high in continental and international championships.
