The Qassim region recorded the highest average rainfall of (22.4) mm in The city of Buraidah, among (8) areas that witnessed varying rainfall, while Unayzah recorded (18.5) mm, Al-Bukayriyah (17.5) mm, Al-Shamsiyah (16.4) mm, Al-Mithnab (15.8) mm, Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Airport (15.3) mm, Riyadh Al-Khubara (15.1) mm, and Al-Bada’i’ and Uyun Al-Jawa’ (14.5). mm.
Rainfall in the regions of the Kingdom
And according to the daily report of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on Amounts of rainfall in all regions of the Kingdom; During the past 24 hours, (75) hydrological and climatic monitoring stations recorded rainfall in the regions of (Riyadh, Medina, Al-Qassim, Al-Sharqiyah, Asir, Tabuk, Hail, and the Northern Borders).
The report indicated that the Riyadh region recorded (22.0) mm in Alqah and Rawdat Al-Sablah in Zulfi, (19.0) mm in Zulfi, and (18.0) mm in The Southern Bateen in Zulfi, (7.6) mm in the Nadhim neighborhood in Riyadh, (6.0) mm in the Masnaa neighborhood in Riyadh, and (5.4) mm in Tamir In Al-Majma’ah, (5.0) mm in Al-Majma’ah, and (4.2) mm in Al-Touqi Barmah.
While the Hail region recorded (7.3) mm in Al-Shamli, (4.3) mm in the Al-Mada’in neighborhood in Hail, (3.6) mm in Hail, (3.4) mm in Aqda in Hail, and (2.4) mm in the Nadec Company farms in Al-Jathiya in Baqa’.
He pointed out that the Eastern Region recorded (6.2) mm in Al-Rafi’ah in the village of Olaya, (2.4) mm in the air base in Hafr Al-Batin, (2.3) mm in Al-Saeerah in Hafr Al-Batin, and (1.4) mm in Al-Faisaliah neighborhood in Al-Nairyah, and King Salman Reserve in Tabuk recorded (4.4) mm, Taima (3.6) mm, Al-Jahra in Taima (3.3) mm, and King Abdullah Road. In Taima (3.0) mm, Bir Al-Mashi in Al-Bidaa (2.8) mm, the northern border recorded (2.4) mm in Umm Khansar in Arar, (1.4) mm in Arar Airport, (1.2) mm in Rafha, (0.6) mm in Rafha Airport, the Asir region recorded (1.8) mm in Wadi Zaid in Al-Namas, and the Medina region recorded (1.0) mm in Al-Ula.
