Morocco is the Arab champion… and Jordan wins respect after a “legendary final”

The Moroccan national team won the 2025 Arab Cup, after a thrilling victory over its Jordanian counterpart 3-2 at Lusail Stadium in Doha, today, Thursday, in a match that witnessed many fluctuations and extended into two extra halves (regular time 2-2).

Morocco owes its victory to its “veteran” star, Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, by scoring two goals to return the match after the “Atlas Lions” were trailing 1-2 until the 88th minute of the match.

Osama Tannan scored for Morocco with a shot from about sixty meters at the beginning of the match (4), and the substitute Hamdallah (88, 100) and Ali Alwan for Jordan (48, 68 from a penalty kick).
This is the second title for Morocco after 2012, while Jordan failed to win its first title in its first final.
