Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, Dr. Ahmed Saeed bin Meshar, confirmed that the historic achievement achieved by the Victory team by winning the double titles of the Formula One and For honorable representation and climbing to the highest international podiums.

He added: “The global sporting achievements of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club and the Victory Team confirm that the vision of our leaders, may God protect them, is the cornerstone of consolidating a strategy based on always raising the ceiling of ambitions to the highest limits, and having a strong presence in international competitions in all seasons, by investing in talent and building on the historical achievements of the Victory Team, which has been a leader locally and globally over the course of decades, during which it has become one of the sporting symbols of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai in particular, and a high-level ambassador for excellence and raising the country’s flag high. In global forums.
The Victory team succeeded in completing its superiority this season, by clinching the Formula One World Championship title for the first time in its history, following the conclusion of the Sharjah Grand Prix on Sunday, with the participation of the best teams and racers from around the world. The success was doubled by clinching the two teams’ titles, as well as the drivers’ title, by Shawn Torronti, captain of the Victory 4 boat. The Victory team also regained the title of the World Championship for powerboats in the X-Cat category, after the conclusion of the Dubai Grand Prix competitions that were held last week on the beaches of Jumeirah Dubai, led by the drivers. Emiratis Salem Al-Adidi and Issa Al Ali on board the Victory 7 boat.
Bin Meshar appreciated the efforts of the work teams at the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, which manages the Victory Team, and all the team’s administrative and technical staff, who succeeded in translating the directives of the Board of Directors in accordance with the club’s 2025-2027 strategic plan, which includes five basic pillars, the most prominent of which is the sustainability of sports teams’ competitiveness, by setting the goal of competing for world titles as a first and permanent option, and striving to be on the podium in all tournaments.
Bin Meshar concluded by emphasizing that the Dubai International Marine Sports Club will continue its efforts in anticipating the future, with always greater aspirations, and its keenness to have an influential and strong presence in all international forums.
