For the first time.. Tunisia receives more than 11 million tourists

Tunisia crossed the threshold of 11 million tourists for the first time, in preliminary data revealed by Tourism Minister Sofiane Takia yesterday, Monday..
In 2024, Tunisia received more than 3.10 million tourists, which was a record number in the history of Tunisian tourism up to that time.
Taqiyeh said, “The recovery of Tunisian tourism is evidence of the sector’s ability to develop the pattern of tourism flows and revenues despite international challenges.”
It is noteworthy that the sector’s revenues until the first nine months of this year amounted to seven billion Tunisian dinars, equivalent to (41.2 billion US dollars).
Revenues in the entire year of 2024 amounted to more than 5.7 billion Tunisian dinars (5.2 billion dollars).
