المملكة: The Kingdom’s weather: Mecca is the hottest at 31 degrees Celsius, and Qurayyat is the coldest by two degrees


Detect The National Center of Meteorology announced the details of the expected weather conditions for today, Thursday, as the Kingdom’s atmosphere is affected by a state of atmospheric instability represented by thunderstorm rains accompanied by active winds on the southwestern and western highlands, in conjunction with a significant drop in temperatures approaching zero degrees Celsius in the northern regions, and the formation of dense fog that limits horizontal visibility in several parts of the country.

Continuing impacts on most regions

The weather forecast continues to indicate the formation of Thunderstorms Rain accompanied by active winds stirring up dust and dust over large parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, with its effects extending to include the region of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Medina.

Temperatures continue to drop in other regions, as Sakaka recorded 6 degrees, while Abha, Hail, and Khamis Mushait were all equal at 7 degrees Celsius, making the northern and southern regions the coldest compared to the rest of the regions.

And in complete contrast, Mecca and Jeddah are experiencing hot weather. It is warm, with the high recorded at 31 degrees Celsius, while Jizan records 29 degrees, which highlights the large temperature contrast between the north and west of the Kingdom.

Navigation movement

Navigation movement in the Red Sea is affected by northerly to northwesterly surface winds in the northern and central part, turning to southwesterly and westerly in the southern part at speeds of up to 50 km/hour.
