81 horses compete in the fifth race at Jebel Ali Racecourse

Dubai, December 26 / WAM / Tomorrow, Jebel Ali Racecourse will witness the holding of the fifth race of its season, and the last during the current year, which includes 7 various rounds, the first half of which is dedicated to purebred Arabian horses, while the remaining 6 rounds will be held for purebred hybrid horses, with the participation of 81 horses, with a total prize money of 592 thousand dirhams.
The first half, the “Porsche Cup”, is a “Maiden” race dedicated to purebred Arabian horses aged 4 years and above, born in the Emirates, with prizes amounting to 50 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 16 horses.
The second half will witness the holding of the “Al Shafar Investment” race for purebred hybrid horses aged 3 years and above, with prizes amounting to 72 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 13 horses.
As for the third round, “The Glorious Saturday Stakes”, it is a “support” race, and is held in the handicap system (75-100) for purebred horses aged 3 years and above, with prizes amounting to 120 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 12 horses.
The fourth round, “Do It All”, is held, which is the “Maiden” round, for non-crossbred horses aged two years, and for crossbred horses aged three years, with prizes amounting to 72 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 10 horses.
The main fifth half will witness the “New Year” race, the “Da’im” race, which is held in the handicap system (75-100) for purebred hybrid horses aged 3 years and above, with prizes amounting to 120 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 6 horses.
The sixth round, the “Commercial Bank of Dubai Race”, is a handicap round (0-80) for purebred hybrid horses aged 3 years and above, with prizes amounting to 86 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 9 horses.
The race concludes with the seventh round, “Al Reda Insurance” – a support race, which is the “Maiden” round for purebred hybrid horses aged 3 years and above, with prizes amounting to 72 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 15 horses.
