Dubai Municipality launches the “Cubs Path” for bicycles in Mushrif National Park

Dubai Municipality launched the “Cubs Track” for bicycles in “Mushrif Hub” Mushrif National Park, to be the first track dedicated to children of its kind in the Middle East.

The trail is designed specifically for children under 12 years of age, and extends for 1.5 kilometers in Mushrif National Park, which includes one of the largest natural ghaf tree forests in the emirate. The trail provides an organized exploration experience inspired by nature, developed according to the highest standards of safety and quality. The project is scheduled to be available daily from sunrise to sunset, and free of charge for all visitors.

The “Cubs Path” was designed to be an integrated adventure system that balances excitement and safety, as all its elements were designed to suit the different age groups of children, taking into account their physical abilities, height, and level of balance and motor coordination. The track design contributes to enhancing self-confidence, control, and the ability to move independently, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for beginners and young explorers.

As children move along the track, they will experience a group of interactive elements designed to gradually develop skills, including balance tracks to enhance stability and control, toy arcs that support directional control, wooden ramps to maintain momentum, and side inclined turns that help navigate curves safely.

The experience also includes additional elements such as rolling wooden logs, flexible structures for bending, and rocky areas, which provides a variety of terrain that contributes to the development of motor coordination, agility, and basic cycling skills, within a fun environment and under appropriate supervision.
