المملكة: The Shura Council discusses the performance of the Ministry of Investment and its future plans in the presence of Minister Al-Falih

His Excellency the Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, will attend the fifteenth regular session of the Shura Council of the second year of the ninth session, which is scheduled to be held next Monday, corresponding to 16 Rajab 1447 AH.
During the session, His Excellency will give a presentation on the plans and programs that the Ministry of Investment has accomplished, and what its goals have been achieved, in addition to discussing the ministry’s performance and reviewing its future plans.
The members of the Shura Council present to His Excellency the Minister of Investment during the session a number of inquiries and interventions. Related to the Ministry’s competencies, within the framework of the oversight role that the Council undertakes on the performance of government agencies; With the aim of supporting development and upgrading the level of services provided to beneficiaries, in line with the directives of the wise leadership – may God protect it -.
The presence of His Excellency the Minister of Investment comes from the Council’s desire to discuss the Ministry’s performance and learn about its plans and objectives and the difficulties and obstacles it faces based on Article Twenty-Two of the Shura Council’s system, which states: "The Speaker of the Shura Council must submit to the Prime Minister a request for any government official to attend sessions of the Shura Council if the Council is discussing matters related to his powers. He has the right to debate without having the right to vote."
